“Five stars isn’t enough!

My husband and I had a couple’s massage here on 8/22 and oooohhh my gosh it was AMAZING!!

We’re super active and do activities that get us pretty banged up often so we’re always sore and pretty inflexible.

We came to Asheville for a little mini vacation and wanted to do a massage together and are so glad we found this place. It was an hour long and I can honestly say that it was the best massage we’ve ever had in our lives. We talked about it for hours on the way home. The two massage therapists (I totally forgot their names, but I believe it was Allison and Duncan) were beyond incredible. They came in before the massage and asked us great questions about our concerns, sore/tight areas, etc.

I left there feeling like I was walking on clouds and my back didn’t hurt at all which is beyond rare. My husband excitedly told me that he felt “flat” which apparently is super good…? (haha)

My husband said “The name “Healing House” is very accurate because there is actual healing going on in there!”

I agree. We live 4 1/2 hours away and are seriously making the drive again just for another massage!!!” 

“My wife and I were looking for a solid, therapeutic massage to kick off vacation and some online research helped us find Wild Rose. So glad we did. Wild Rose is in a “real” house and run by fantastic people who made our visit exactly what we needed. Our masseuses Allison and Michael made our 60 minute hot stone massage go by far too fast (next time 90 minutes!), and we felt great.

Wild Rose is what a good massage center should be. Clean, professional, friendly and fairly priced. We would certainly return!”

“From start to finish I had such a relaxing experience. The front desk ladies were lovely, and I just adore the design and decor of the house. I would say this was in the top 3 best massages I’ve ever had. Allison truly loves what she does and has an expert feel for finding what I needed, and even gave me suggestions to improve posture and overall well being. I agree with the other reviews that this is the place to go in Asheville, NC. We have been to almost all the Asheville places and this exceeded our expectations ! I would rate this experience up there with some of the finest spas we have been fortunate enough to go to throughout the south. My wife and I had selected the Lotus package for our anniversary massage and it was very good as it incorporated relaxing massage, stones, a very enjoyable scalp massage, and aromatherapy. Allison was exceptional, intuitive, and engaged (engaged – sometimes I feel the therapist is just going through the motions but this was not the case as Allison). My wife stated her therapist Jessi was also vey good and balanced her deep tissue techniques well.

Overall – Very HIGH recommendation and we look forward to enjoying some of their services in the future.”

“Allie has done an absolutely beautiful job creating a sweet and nurturing atmosphere for healing work and massage therapy. To watch the growth and amazing dedication to this field of work over the years from her is beautiful and moving. The practice is located in a very sweet little building off of Merrimon avenue and the decor is super zen. The staff that work there are really nice, the front desk woman is very friendly and accommodating. The therapist I worked with was receptive to my feedback and instruction if you come in with a trouble spot and sore area – and that is always appreciated! My session also included hot towels and hot stones which was really nice. Being a busy massage therapist myself taking time for self care is always a must, and what a nice place to go to to do just that! “I came to Blazing Lotus while on my first anniversary trip with my husband. He was kind enough to book us each massages. I am about 5 months pregnant and had the Violet Package. Wow is all I can say. The prenatal massage was so lovely – start to finish. Allison was so kind and genuine – I immediately felt at home and very comfortable. It comes with a scalp massage and aromatherapy which truly helped me relax. Every single person and therapist we met at Blazing Lotus was so friendly and warm. I love the story of how this business came to be and what it represents. I will forever remember this experience and recommend them to anyone I can. My only regret is that I don’t live in Asheville. Rest assured, I’ll be back every time I visit.”

“My husband and I came to the mountains for a few days and decided to get a massage. We had a great experience. My room was very calming and relaxing. Allie did my massage and she was excellent. Her communication skills are excellent and she provided the right amount of pressure and incorporated stones and essential oils to my massage. My husband has Cassidy and he said she was excellent. I can tell you this…..if we lived in the area we would be getting a massage here every 2 weeks….we look forward to next visit to the area so we can come back. Highly recommend them. “What an amazing retreat. I’m so lucky to have found this place while staying at Lake Lure, NC. It was well worth the drive and an experience everyone should put on their “bucket list”.  Allison was so kind and accommodating while making my last minute reservations, greeting me, and solving a booking error. I felt the services were affordable and thoroughly healing. My anxiety as well as any physical and mental stress melted away with the glorious Sound Therapy Swedish Massage by Marina. The icing on the cake was Audrey’s traditional hot cupping that took me back to the healing I received in China almost 10 years ago. I’m not sure if any other spa experience will compare to this due to the caring and talented staff, quaint location, soothing house blended hot tea, and unique services. “I travel a lot.  After driving, my back and shoulders hurt.  I have found Nirvana!  Allie is by far one of the best professional massage therapists i have ever found!   The spa is named in memory of her daughter.

1. She is kind and gentle in personality.  Her peace pervades her massage so you leave at peace.  She unwinds the mind, body and spirit.
2.  She has the ability to remove the sore muscle and transform it to new before she replaces it.  The “Lomi-Lomi” is magic.
3, She charges reasonable rates unlike the exorbitant rates of the other spas in town.  Her web site shows packages.
4.  She offers wraps etc which i have not yet used,  She also has a shower to wash the oil off afterwards.
5.  If you want the pools of Grove Park, this is not for you.  But, if you want the best massage of your life at prices you can afford – this is the place!”

“Truly first rate!  Expect complete bliss and happiness in this extraordinary healing house! I had thrown out my neck the day before and needed relief.  I knew that the condition was attributed to overly tight muscles in the shoulder area and so I sought a massage specialist over a chiropractor.  Due to time constraints, I had time for only a 30-minute massage but let me tell you….it was just what my neck, shoulder and upper back needed! In this short period of time, I experienced aromatherapy, cupping, hot stones, hot towels, percussive treatment and the ultimate in relaxation from Allie, the proprietor of Blazing Lotus.  The inviting decor complemented the serene atmosphere.  In my opinion, interior decorating could have been Allie’s unique calling but she is also truly blessed with healing hands.  Within five minutes, I could tell that Allie put her heart into her work much like an artist will paint with his or her heart.  What a gem of a place!  There is also parking in the lot behind the building.  I also appreciated that the location (north Asheville bordering on downtown but without the frenetic parking situation that is found downtown) was so accessible. It’s a very inviting home studio that has a way better vibe than the chain spots you can get oversold at. Allie is a phenomenal human being that places you at ease from the start. With a horrible spine surgery I have had many massages from many different places around the country, but the one I received from Allie was the best one I’ve had so far. She is ridiculously skilled and you can tell through the massage. Hopped in the sauna afterwards which topped off my day, and soon to be routine of healing. I’d recommend her to anyone. I was struggling with some back and neck issues due to travel and CrossFit and needed some relief. We talked about what was going on, and I just let her go to work. “I was injured in Baghdad in 2005. I was 7 feet away from a car bomb blast. I have had several surgeries and countless trips to back specialist. I have tried every treatment suggested.
